A modern comedy, currently being played in Paris, that humorously addresses the uncomfortable situations of today's society.
Carla (Maia Morgenstern) and Francois (Marius Bodochi) are a couple as atypical as they are classic. Married for 30 years, each has hidden something during all this time: Carla her genetic inheritance and Francois his mindset.
One day, Carla is forced to reveal who she was and especially what she was before marriage, and Francois to admit his misogyny, obtuseness, and hypocrisy. From the clash of these two worlds arises a completely unusual comedy in the Romanian theater landscape, fully infectious and surprisingly but balancedly modern. The classic couple comedy is amplified here.
A truly surprising couple, however, has love as its main ingredient. Love heals everything and changes everything. After conflicts hard to overcome, situations difficult to accept, a torment that seems never-ending, in the end, the two will return to their peace after an embrace.
Actress Maia Morgenstern performs a completely unusual role, bringing a contagious and sunny humor. Carla is a special woman and Maia Morgenstern creates her with absolute mastery.
Actor Marius Bodochi brings such a lively energy through the role of this seasoned politician who will be shaken by totally uncomfortable truths. With unique skill, Marius Bodochi delivers an exceptional and novel performance as the misogynist Francois, mayor of Paris.
Actors Răzvan Oprea and Diana Stancu echo with two authentic and different characters from them, representatives of the new world that color the existing comedic situations, each supporting their viewpoint and personal good. Rachon (Răzvan Oprea) is a progressive politician campaigning against Francois, while Louise (Diana Stancu) is the adoptive daughter of the main couple who stirs an unsuitable situation for the perfect family image built so far.
A comedy show from which spouses or lovers will always leave holding hands.
