How would Caragiale's characters translate today? It has been 110 years since Uncle Iancu left us an invaluable and indisputable wealth. Sometimes, it seems that the years have passed in vain because we see the same "habits" typical of our people and nation everywhere. We are "incurable" when it comes to trying to change these morals.
Let's rediscover the "Caragialism" that characterizes us in a new form of the "old" mahala. We propose an original show where the famous melodies of yesteryear (I Am the Life's Vagabond, I Swear I Love You, Until I Loved You, My Years and Youth, Saraiman, All That Is Romanian Does Not Perish, I Am a Seller of Pleasure) are reinterpreted LIVE and reorchestrated. Let's recreate the interwar atmosphere by imagining what Caragiale and his characters would look like today, accompanied by violinist Răzvan Pisău, in an unlimited time, closer to what represents us.
