Take a very possessive mother of a boy (Carmen Tanase), add a timid, obedient boy with small deviations (Marius Manole), sprinkle some matrimonial ads, drizzle a gorgeous, single, and desperate woman (Maria Obretin) and you already have a comedy that disarms even the sulkiest spectator. As a bonus, after you laugh, and laugh, and laugh, you realize that the story is not cheerful at all, you realize that the story is that of many lonely people around you, or even of yourself. Then you laugh again, of course, because Lia Bugnar always makes sure to send her audience home with a big smile on their faces.
