ORCHESTRA DI TEATRO D’OPERA ITALIANA, one of the most famous orchestras in Europe, has been applauded on the grand opera and philharmonic stages worldwide. It is enough to mention a few traditional venues: Brucknerhaus Linz (Linz Philharmonic), Bregenz Festspielhaus (Bregenz Philharmonic), Brunnenhof der Residenz München (Imperial Palace of Munich), Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Stadthalle Vienna, Meistersingershalle Nürnberg, Kasemattenbuehne Graz, etc.
The orchestra's recognition is also given by collaborations with great names in world opera, soloists and conductors from the Arena di Verona, La Scala Theatre in Milan, Rome Opera House, Vienna State Opera, etc.
Instrumentalist artists from ORCHESTRA OPEREI VOX, known and appreciated nationally and internationally, also join the members of the Orchestra di Teatro D’Opera Italiana. This is a new concept in Romania, where instrumental artists from two top European orchestras join hands to offer the public memorable evenings and unique musical experiences.
FROM JOHANN STRAUSS TO BOGDAN COSTACHE OR ABOUT THE VIENNESE MODEL OF CONDUCTING WITH A VIOLIN IN HAND!
The musical direction of the show will be ensured by the young conductor and violin soloist BOGDAN COSTACHE and, thus, the guest soloists and musicians from Vienna, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, will perform under the baton of one of the most talented orchestra conductors of the young generation, born in Romania! The presence of BOGDAN COSTACHE in this year's VIENNESE GALA program is thanks to you, the audience who already love him so much and have shown yourselves impressed by his performance, wishing to see him again as soon as possible. Thus, the show will be an interactive one, conducted "with a violin in hand" after the model of JOHANN STRAUSS or, more recently, of ANDRE RIEU.
This year too, Bogdan will surprise you with many pieces in their national premiere. Romanian music will also be present, long-forgotten Romanian pieces, as well as wonderful Romanian carols.
THE SHOW WILL BE COMPLETED BY THE OPERA VOX CHOIR AND BALLET
The orchestra members are joined by the OPERA VOX BALLET ENSEMBLE with the long-awaited moments of waltzes, polkas, can-can, în an effervescent and engaging choreography signed by Vlad Sebastian, so you will be invited to dance by our orchestras themselves and our dancers, through the famous „Alles Walzer!”
The beautiful carols and Christmas songs will also shine through the voices of the OPERA VOX CHOIR. This year too, you will enjoy our traditional Romanian carols.
YOUNG TALENTED ROMANIANS AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR JOURNEY!
Every year, we take on the mission to bring before you and promote exceptionally talented young Romanian musicians, at the beginning of their careers, but who have already won awards at national and international music competitions. This year, the very young guitarist Gabriel Popescu will perform alongside our orchestra, accompanied by his professor and mentor Mădălin Antonesei.
