ROOTS is more than a folk show – it is a celebration of Romanian identity, traditions, and values that define us. Legendary names of folk music, along with established artists and young performers, gather on the stage of Sala Palatului for an evening where authentic song, folk costume, and emotion intertwine in a true tribute to the Romanian village and our cultural heritage.  

At the center of this event is Sofia Vicoveanca, one of the most beloved and respected artists of Romanian folklore, alongside Niculina Stoican, Ionuț Fulea, Mariana Ionescu Căpitănescu, Laura Lavric, Valentin Sanfira, Georgiana Onuți, Grigore Gherman, Angelica Flutur, Cornel Borza, Paula Hrișcu, Gabriel Nebunu, Victor Lavric, Nicu Mâță, Beatrice Bândoiu, Surorile Oșoianu, Theodora Baloșin and Orchestra Lăutarii, under the baton of maestro Corneliu Botgros.

"ROOTS" is an invitation to return to the essence – to the place where tradition, family, and longing for home transform into music. A moving performance, full of authenticity, which brings together generations of artists and spectators in a celebration of the Romanian soul, demonstrating that true roots are never forgotten.
