Oltenia Philharmonic – Craiova

On November 21, 2026, „Canto de Luna” brings to the stage of the "Oltenia" Philharmonic in Craiova an evening where the passion of Argentine tango, the charm of Italian canzonetta, and the expressiveness of the lied meet under the sign of love, longing, and mystery.

The protagonists of the evening, soprano Cristina Chițimia and mezzo-soprano Adina Papadimas, will give voice to a repertoire full of color and sensitivity, accompanied by pianist Ioana-Valentina Găină-Cojuharov and violinist Eugen Ionescu.

The program brings together creations signed by Astor Piazzolla, Agustín Lara, Vincenzo di Chiara, Peppino Turco and other emblematic composers, on a musical journey from the intensity of South American rhythms to the elegance and warmth of Italian melody.

„Canto de Luna” is an invitation to reverie and emotion – an evening where voices, piano, and violin will transform music into a story told under the moonlight.

Cristina Chițimia – soprano
Adina Papadimas – mezzo-soprano
Ioana-Valentina Găină-Cojuharov – piano
Eugen Ionescu – violin

Under the moonlight, passion becomes music, and music becomes a story.
