"A lie has no such long legs" is a witty comedy with four characters, which played on Broadway for 30 years, and in Romania it was translated and staged for the first time by the late Florian Pittiș at the Bulandra Theatre in 1998. The action takes place in the middle of the last century, when there were no mobile phones, internet or a single currency, and it follows two men who take their girlfriends for a weekend by the sea, in a luxury hotel on the coast. One of them always tells "the truth", the other always lies, but neither will escape the fateful encounter with the wife.
