Tribute to Luis Mariano

📅 Thursday, November 5, 2026, 7:00 PM

📍 Opereta Lounge (Foyer) – National Operetta and Musical Theatre „Ion Dacian”

Ion Dacian and Luis Mariano were united by sincere mutual admiration and a close friendship. As proof of this closeness, the famous tenor traveled to Bucharest specifically to be present in the hall at the premiere of the operetta „The Secret of Marco Polo”, applauding his colleague and friend in the title role.

As part of the „Ion Dacian Week” event series, we invite you to celebrate this soulful connection through a performance full of refinement and nostalgia. The seductive music and unmistakable charm of Luis Mariano will come to life again through the warm voice and stage presence of tenor Daniel Magdal, accompanied on piano by Alexandru Burcă, alongside the SmartArt Association Choir. We await you in the welcoming atmosphere of Opereta Lounge for a charming evening dedicated to elegance and the great melodies of European operetta.

Seats are limited. Tickets are available online and at the theatre's ticket office.
