Friends at Knives

"Friends at Knives" is a contemporary comedy about two wealthy, dysfunctional couples, blinded by their own pride, fears, and expectations.

On one hand, the famous psychoanalyst Phyllis discovers that her husband Sam, a star lawyer, is not only divorcing her but has cheated on her with almost every woman she knows - including her patients, her best friend, and the one-legged neighbor in the apartment below. Meanwhile, their friends Carol and Howard are wrapped up in their own emotional trauma. Carol believes that Sam is leaving Phyllis for her, and Howard has a manic-depressive attack triggered by placing his elderly father in a second-rate seniors' home and the thought that his wife no longer truly loves him.

There is drinking, smoking, and finger-pointing. Infidelities and insecurities rise to the surface, marriages and friendships are laid to waste. No one is safe, not even the furniture.
