The show “Kidnapping” arises from the need to laugh at ourselves, at others, and at the adversity surrounding us. When those who should take care of our well-being steal from us and ignore us, there is nothing left to do but to take action.
Paco, our protagonist, in a desperate attempt to save his job and avoid losing his house, decides to take extreme measures, thus becoming a vigilante, like Charles Bronson, like Batman… But Paco is neither Charles Bronson nor Batman, Paco is just Paco… a butcher from the Latin market… he is just a character in the lively comedy “Kidnapping” written by Fran Nortes. And we, at the end of the show, have no choice but to laugh, enjoy, accept who we are, and trust that everything will be okay.
