The show “Kidnapping” arises from the need to laugh at ourselves, at our fellow man, and at the challenges that surround us. When those who are supposed to take care of our well-being steal from us and ignore us, there is nothing left to do but take action in this regard.
Paco, our protagonist, in a desperate attempt to save his job and avoid losing his house, decides to take extreme measures, becoming thus a vigilante, like Charles Bronson, like Batman… But Paco is neither Charles Bronson nor Batman, Paco is just Paco… a butcher from the Latin market… he is just a character in the sparkling comedy “Kidnapping”, written by Fran Nortes. And we, at the end of the show, have no choice but to laugh, to enjoy, to accept who we are and to trust that everything will be fine.
