Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacau and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university. He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, which marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He doesn't regret for a second choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have given him inspiration and help throughout this life's journey, both from within the country and abroad. After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and performances have always been a measure of the unique and the promotion of a complex humor of great refinement and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist one learns the art of intelligent humor, purity, and the flavor of naturalness.
