Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of student life, years that marked the beginning of his comedy career. He doesn’t regret a single second that he chose the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have given him inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from home and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundation of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances always measured the novelty and promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through this great popular artist’s comedy, the art of intelligent, clean humor and the delight of naturalness is learned.
