Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacau, and settled in Bucharest right when he started university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful student years that marked the beginning of his comedy career. He does not regret a single second of choosing the path of humor and remains fully grateful to all those who provided him with inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After numerous humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundation of Romanian stand-up both

before and after the 1990s. Always, his talent and professional performances measuring the novelty and promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, the art of intelligent, clean humor and the savor of naturalness are learned.
