Our dear comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.
He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly recalls the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He doesn't regret for a second choosing the path of a humorist and remains fully grateful to all those who have provided him with inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both in the country and abroad.
After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been the measure of originality and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the taste of naturalness.
