The show "Kidnapping" is born out of the need to laugh at ourselves, at our neighbors, and at the adversity that surrounds us. When those who are supposed to look out for our well-being steal from us and ignore us, there is nothing left to do but take action accordingly.
Paco, our protagonist, in a desperate attempt to save his job and avoid losing his home, decides to take extreme measures, thus becoming a vigilante, like Charles Bronson, like Batman… But Paco is neither Charles Bronson nor Batman, Paco is just Paco… a butcher in the Latin market… he is just a character in the frothy comedy "Kidnapping", written by Fran Nortes. And we, at the end of the show, have no choice but to laugh, to enjoy ourselves, to accept who we are, and to trust that everything will be fine.
