Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest as soon as he started college.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student days, which marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret for a second having chosen the path of humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have given him inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After numerous comedy shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this craft, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up comedy both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances always measure the novelty and promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent humor, purity, and the enjoyment of naturalness.
