Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacau, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and remembers with great pleasure the beautiful years of student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret for a second choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all who have given him inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from within the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the groundwork for Romanian stand-up comedy both before and after the 1990s. His talent and performances have always been a measure of innovation and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through this great popular artist’s comedy, one learns the art of intelligent humor, purity, and the charm of naturalness.
