Our dear comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret for a second choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all who have provided inspiration and help along this life's journey, both from home and abroad.

After countless humor performances written and acted in over 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and significant figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and performances have always been a measure of uniqueness and the promotion of a sophisticated and deep humor. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the savior of naturalness.
