Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student days, years which marked the beginning of his comedy career. He does not regret for a second choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have provided him with inspiration and help throughout his life's journey, both from the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this craft, he remains a symbol of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up, both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always measured the novelty and promotion of a refined and profound humor. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the delight of naturalness.
