Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately upon starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of student life, years that marked the beginning of his comedy career. He does not regret for a second choosing the path of being a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have provided him with inspiration and help along this life journey, both from within the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been the measure of novelty and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent humor, cleanliness, and the savor of naturalness.
