How would Caragiale's characters be translated today? It has been 110 years since Uncle Iancu left us an inestimable and undeniable wealth. Sometimes it seems that the years have passed in vain because we see the same "habits" specific to our people and nation everywhere. We are "incurable" when it comes to trying to change these morals.
Let’s rediscover the "Caragialism" that characterizes us in a new form of the "old" slum. We propose an unprecedented show where famous songs of yesteryear (I am the Vagabond of my Life, I swear I love you, Until I loved you, My Years and Youth, Șaraiman, All that is Romanian does not perish, I am a Pleasure Vendor) are reinterpreted LIVE and re-orchestrated. Let’s recreate the interwar atmosphere imagining how Caragiale and his characters would look today, accompanied by violinist Răzvan Pisău, in an unlimited time, closer to what represents us.
