How would Caragiale's characters be portrayed today? It has been 110 years since Nenea Iancu left us with an invaluable and indisputable wealth. Sometimes it seems like the years have passed in vain because we see the same "habits" typical to our people and nation everywhere. We are "incurable" when it comes to trying to change these customs.
Let's rediscover the "Caragialism" that characterizes us in a new form of the "old" mahala. We propose an original show where the famous melodies of yesteryear (I am the vagabond of my life, Parol that I love you, Until I loved you, My years and my youth, Sarayman, Everything that is Romanian does not perish, I am a seller of pleasure) are reinterpreted LIVE and rearranged. Let's recreate the interwar atmosphere by imagining how Caragiale and his characters would look today, accompanied by violinist Răzvan Pisău, in an unlimited time closer to what represents us.
