Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately upon starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his comedy career. He does not regret a single second of choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have provided him with inspiration and support throughout this life's journey, both from within the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed during over 35 years of practicing this craft, he remains the embodiment of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundation of Romanian stand-up both

before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been the measure of uniqueness and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent humor, its purity and the charm of naturalness.
