WonderTheatre announces a new premiere for the whole family, the comedy “A Two-Penny Farce” with Dragoș Huluba, Cătălina Grama Jojo, Andrei Mateiu, Paula Chirilă, Paul Ipate, and Maria Obretin.
The show is directed by Răzvan Oprea who also signs the translation and adaptation of Marc Fayet's text, one of the most awarded French comedy authors.
Three couples, a rented holiday house, and the tradition of cool, bourgeois vacations full of charming stories mean the recipe for a beautiful friendship. When 2.20 euros are left on a table in the holiday house as a test, their miraculous disappearance generates a wave of confessions that endanger their vacation.
To the surprise and amusement of the spectators, this insignificant amount makes it possible to destroy friendships, create alliances, and activate atrocious forms of greed and selfishness.
What happens will surprise even the author of the farce because the "couple disaster," always swept under the rug, somehow manages to explode exactly when you don't want "dirty laundry" to be washed in front of friends.
The audience laughs and learns their lesson in a comedy written by Marc Fayet, which has been successfully playing in France for many years.
