Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret for a second that he chose the path of the humorist profession and remains fully grateful to all those who have provided him with inspiration and support throughout this life journey, both in the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both

before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances always being the measure of novelty and the promotion of a complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the flavor of naturalness.
