A hint about the play! The butler, the minister, and the mistress. A very common love triangle in Romania of the 1930s... Any resemblance to today's reality is, of course, not coincidental! Actors Adriana Trandafir, Gabriel Fătu, Ion Ionuț Ciocia, Alexandra Apetrei / Maria Claudia Vasile, Vlad Corbeanu, and Mihai Munteniță make this wonderful play: liars lied to... deceivers deceived... tangled affairs... in a word, a sparkling comedy, played at a fast pace. There are also dramatic moments, where plans sewn with too thin a thread lead to the unraveling of all relationships in Minister Iorgu Vasiliu's house. With crazy decisions motivated by blind love, with suspense brought on by threats of death, and with a police inspector who intervenes at the right moment to try to solve a mystery, all that's needed is a Madman for "Our Minister's Mistress" to also become a Detective Comedy. Full of humor!!!
