THE BICKERING WOMEN OF CHIOGGIA – one of the most famous and performed comedy shows of

all times. In the absence of men who have gone fishing, the women left at home only engage in quarrels,

gossip and... occasionally in “lace” work! The quarrel is the only way for the women to

drive away boredom while waiting for the men who are away at sea for months.
