This year, the celebrated Johann Strauss Ensemble orchestra, led by the charismatic conductor Russell McGregor, returns to Romania for the 20th time in an exceptional anniversary tour. Under McGregor’s baton, famous for performances at the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, the audience will experience a magical concert, set in an atmosphere that revives the elegance and charm of Johann Strauss's era.

During the concert, the audience will be delighted by the presence of soprano Elisabeth Wimmer and baritone Thomas Weinhappel, two internationally renowned artists who will add refinement and depth to this event. Additionally, the ballet will complement the show, offering moments that will transport the audience on the wings of the Viennese waltz.

Russell McGregor, the conductor who has collaborated with great opera legends such as Luciano Pavarotti and José Carreras, will conduct and play on his unique violin made by Carlo Giuseppe Testore in 1697, adding a special touch to the concert.
