The Metropolitan Center for Education and Culture Ioan I. Dalles offers the public an authentic evening of carols.
"Colind cu Dor" a live concert by Ana Cebotari & Band on December 21st at 7:00 PM at Dalles Hall.
On the eve of the most beautiful holidays of the year, when time slows down to make way for magic, we invite you to step into a musical universe of absolute uniqueness. Soprano Ana Cebotari brings to the stage a live carol concert that promises to become true nourishment for the soul, an oasis of light and peace amidst the winter hustle.
It is an evening where the audience reconnects with the true meaning of the holidays: closeness, faith, and the joy of being together.
This event is not just a simple concert, but a sacred journey to our roots. In a world rushing towards modernity, the concert aims to bring back to the forefront the authenticity of the carols of yesteryear. Ana Cebotari's pure and unmistakable voice will dress traditional Romanian songs and musical gems from the international classical repertoire in royal nobility, while preserving their pure spirit, as we inherited it from our grandparents.
The charm of this performance lies in its direct vibration. Each note performed live by the talented soprano will vibrate in unison with the hearts of those in the hall. We are not just talking about impeccable vocal technique, but about a deep native sensitivity, capable of transforming each verse into a prayer and each chord into a warm embrace. It is the promise of an evening where emotion will be felt intensely, beyond words.
This performance is not a simple concert, but a sacred journey to our roots. In a world of screens and synthetic sounds, our stake is authenticity. The organic dialogue between Ana Cebotari's angelic voice and the band's live instruments will dress traditional Romanian songs and musical gems from the classical repertoire in a new, vibrant, and warm sonic guise.
