Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest right when he started university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret a second of choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have provided inspiration and help throughout this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances always measure the individuality and promotion of a sophisticated and deep humor. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, one learns the art of intelligent, clean humor and the savor of naturalness.
