"Biloxi Blues", originally written by Neil Simon, is a theater play designed to highlight the hardships of American soldiers, but also the ridiculousness of some situations, through a satire based on situational and character comedy. The protagonist, of Jewish origin, has three main goals: to survive the army, to become a writer, and to start his sexual life. Other soldiers also stand out in the pursuit of these objectives. Among them are a muscular soldier, another one who is a womanizer, a soldier with feminine features, a failed singer, and a well-read man... VERY well-read.
