Stage adaptation by the masterful Gelu Colceag, after the famous screenplays of Anthony Schaffer and Harold Pinter - "Sleuth" (1972 and 2007) - "DEADLY GAME" brings new nuances in the consummate interpretation of Claudiu Istodor and Vlad Corbeanu.
Andrew Wyke, a successful crime novelist in his middle age, and Milo Tindle, a younger aspiring charismatic actor, engage in a "deadly game" because of a woman. The woman, Maggie, is Andrew's wife who left him for the younger lover, Milo. When Milo visits the husband's territory with the request for a divorce so that he can marry her, Andrew lures him into a series of meticulously planned actions.
"DEADLY GAME" is a game of two intelligent men, a game of appearances, egos, where betrayal, deception, adultery, and revenge intertwine with intellectual refinement and potential deadly consequences.
