How would Caragiale's characters translate today? It's been 110 years since Uncle Iancu left us an invaluable and undeniable wealth. Sometimes it seems that the years have passed in vain because we see the same "habits" characteristic of our people and nation everywhere. We are "incurable" when it comes to trying to change these customs.
Let's rediscover the "caragialism" that characterizes us in a new form of the "old" mahala. We propose a unique show where the famous songs of yesteryear (I am the vagabond of my life, Parol I love you, Until I loved you, My years and youth, Șaraiman, Everything Romanian does not perish, I am a seller of pleasure) are reinterpreted LIVE and rearranged. Let's recreate the interwar atmosphere imagining how Caragiale and his characters would look today, accompanied by violinist Răzvan Pisău, in a timeless manner, closer to what represents us.
