When you are a princess, you have a governess, a butler, a palace full of all kinds of toys, but all these seem very boring to Princess Billy.

On a magical night, the doll Silly comes to life and, for a day, truly lives in the princess's place. This allows Miss Joy, her governess, and Mr. Gentle, the butler, to have an unexpectedly wonderful day with their princess.
Only then does Billy discover how much she has to learn from Silly, her doll, about how to appreciate the life she has and the people around her.
