A new premiere by the PRINCIPAL THEATRE, the famous comedy "MR. MINISTER'S STORK" reaches the stages of Romanian theaters with an exceptional cast: Adriana TRANDAFIR, Mihai CIUCĂ, Laura COSOI / Monica VÎLCU, Ioana ANCEA, and Gabriel FĂTU.
Adapted from André Roussin, directed by Lucian IANCU, the play written in 1951 entangles a series of humorous situations, where the rapid succession of misunderstandings and the characters' witty comebacks create an explosive comedy.
In "MR. MINISTER'S STORK," we enter the Jaquet family, soon to be blessed with new members. Olympe, the wife of politician Charles, becomes pregnant just as he is implementing legislative measures regarding sexual and reproductive rights. Georges, their son, is expecting a child with his father's secretary. Thérèse, the maid, is also pregnant, as is Annie Jaquet, the politician's daughter with Olympe...
Thus, the Principal Theatre presents one of the most entertaining comedies in the French repertoire, full of mix-ups, various adventures, and antics of the characters: "MR. MINISTER'S STORK."
