Our dear comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately with the start of college.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his comedy career. He doesn't regret a single moment choosing the path of a humorist and remains deeply grateful to all those who have given him inspiration and help along this life journey, both from the country and abroad.

After countless comic shows written and performed in over 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up comedy both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been the measure of novelty and the promotion of complex humor with great finesse and depth. Through this great popular artist's comedy, the art of intelligent humor is learned, along with the flavor of naturalness.
