Our beloved comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest at the start of his university studies.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, years that marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret a single moment for choosing the path of a comedian and remains fully grateful to all those who have inspired and assisted him throughout this life journey, both domestically and abroad.

After countless humor shows written and performed over more than 35 years of practicing this profession, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. DOD remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundation of Romanian stand-up both before and after the 1990s. His talent and professional performances have always been the measure of novelty and the promotion of a complex humor of great subtlety and depth. Through this great popular artist's comedy, one learns the art of intelligent humor, purity, and the delight of naturalness.
