Our dear comedian was born in the city of Arad, grew up in Bacău, and settled in Bucharest immediately after starting university.

He graduated from the Faculty of Installations in Bucharest and fondly remembers the beautiful years of his student life, which marked the beginning of his career as a comedian. He does not regret for a second that he chose the path of humor and is deeply grateful to all those who have given him inspiration and support throughout this life journey, both from within the country and abroad.

After countless comedy shows written and performed in over 35 years of practice, he remains the image of a free spirit as an artist and one of the most original and important figures in Romanian comedy. D.O.D remains the charismatic and elegant Romanian artist who laid the foundations of Romanian stand-up, both before and after the 1990s. His talent and performances have always been the measure of originality and the promotion of complex humor of great finesse and depth. Through the comedy of this great popular artist, we learn the art of intelligent, clean humor and the delight of naturalness.
