TOC - TOC
The play ”TOC - TOC” is written by the French playwright Laurent Baffie, an actor and writer for entertainment shows on radio and television, having premiered in 2005, at the Palais-Royal in Paris.
”TOC – TOC” is a sparkling comedy whose action takes place in the office of Dr. Stern, a renowned neuropsychiatrist known for his success in treating obsessive-compulsive disorders – TOC. An appointment with Dr. Stern is hard to get as he travels a lot abroad.
Coprolalia, arithmomania, nosophobia, palilalia are just some of the conditions of the six patients who meet in Dr. Stern's waiting room. Dr. Stern is delayed, being stuck at the airport. After a while, the patients will try to make the waiting time easier by improvising a group therapy, which will encourage each to tell their story and, implicitly, to become friends and collaborate to overcome their own TOCs.
