The National Athenaeum Iași invites you on TUESDAY, 25 FEBRUARY at 19:00, to the show Zorba the Greek, a show about people with hot blood, about wildness and human maladaptation, about the meanings of life. The show is completely dominated by Zorba, and actor Marius Bodochi is the perfect choice for this role. Zorba's exuberance, the character's ability to see only the bright side of life and to transfer his optimistic attitude to those around him, combined with the metaphor of dancing on the deserted beach, make this show a unique experience.
Zorba the Greek is a show – simply – joy. The adventurer Zorbas is the simple man, with a big heart and an uneducated mind, yet with an inner strength that has opened him early to life's experiences. Arriving at a crossroads, the intellectual burdened by existential problems meets the Greek who enjoys every moment of life, every moment of the day, and feels every emotion with boundless intensity. Loyal friends and fellow travelers for a while, the wealthy one learns invaluable lessons from the poor man, yet rich in inner wealth, about joy, balance, pride, and honor.
A journey in time on a magical island, a true lesson about how to love, to live, about life and death, and about how to remain a HUMAN. This is what Zorba left us!
„- Will you take me with you?
– Where?
– Wherever God wills…!”
This is where our show begins! We await you to discover together that „life is a joke”!
