The Illusion of Some Islands is a post-postmodern multimedia experience, featuring live music and low-fi video design, that attempts to sensorially summarize everything the team (and probably the audience) has experienced in the last months of 2024 and the first months of 2025. It is the story of a world that has fractured into incompatible fragments. It’s the story of an incredibly long road back to what you used to call home, the story of friendships that have fallen apart, families that remain families only on paper, the story of fathers who never know what to say or the only opinions that can save us. It’s how our lives look and sound in moments when we feel that no one sees us and no one hears us.
