"Old Love" is a romantic comedy in two acts, with elements of personal drama, presenting a story with a happy Hollywood-style ending, set in an austere décor composed of a few pieces of white furniture that contribute to the play's special, minimalist note.
An "Old Love" takes place in contemporary times, binding the small-time clerk Bud Mitchell and his boss's wife, Molly Graham, for almost three decades through sporadic meetings and humor-laden discussions, quickly forgotten by her but forming solid emotional building blocks for him. However, the decisive step is not taken until they are both alone, free from family obligations, she a widow, he divorced.
