Soprano Elena Moșuc and pianist, répétiteur Adina Alupei will perform two songs composed by George Enescu at the opening of the special screening “ENESCU70” of the film Enescu, Flayed Alive.

On May 5, 2025, the National Opera of Iași will witness a unique event, an unforgettable tribute to a genius of universal music – George Enescu.

On the night of May 4 to May 5, 1955, George Enescu passed into eternity, and 70 years after this moment, we choose to celebrate and honor him as he deserves. The National Opera of Iași will host a special event dedicated to his memory. The evening will begin with an exceptional recital, in which soprano Elena Moșuc and pianist and répétiteur Adina Alupei will perform two Enescu songs, offering the audience an emotional journey into the musical universe of the composer. After the recital, the film “Enescu, Flayed Alive” will be screened, a profound exploration of the life and work of the great artist.
