A new premiere of the MAIN THEATRE, the famous comedy "THE STORK OF THE MINISTER" arrives on Romanian theatre stages with an outstanding cast: Adriana TRANDAFIR, Mihai CIUCĂ, Laura COSOI / Monica VÎLCU, Ioana ANCEA, and Gabriel FĂTU.
Adapted from André Roussin, directed by Lucian IANCU, the play written in 1951 unfolds a series of humorous situations, where misunderstandings follow rapidly, and the characters deliver sparkling lines in an explosive comedy.
In "THE STORK OF THE MINISTER," we enter the Jaquet family, who is about to be blessed with new members. Olympe, the wife of politician Charles, becomes pregnant just as he takes legislative measures towards sexual and reproductive rights. Georges, their son, is expecting a child with his father's secretary. Thérése, the housemaid, is also pregnant, as is Annie Jaquet, the daughter of the politician and Olympe....
Thus, the Main Theatre presents one of the most sparkling comedies of the French repertoire, full of complications, all sorts of adventures, and the mischief of the characters: "THE STORK OF THE MINISTER."
