The butler, the minister, and the mistress. A love triangle often encountered in Romania during the `30s... Any resemblance to present-day reality is, of course, coincidental! Actors Adriana Trandafir, Gabriel Fătu, Ion Ionuț Ciocia, Alexandra Apetrei / Maria Claudia Vasile, Vlad Corbeanu, and Mihai Munteniță turn this wonderful play into: deceitful deceivers... deceived deceivers... tangled tangles... in a word, a sparkling comedy, played at a brisk pace. There are also dramatic moments, where plans, sewn with thread far too thin, lead to the disintegration of all relationships within Minister Iorgu Vasiliu's house. With foolish decisions motivated by blind love, suspense driven by threats of death, and a police inspector who intervenes at just the right moment to try to unravel a mystery, all we need is a Fool for “Our Mistress from the Ministry" to also become a Police Comedy. Full of humor!!!
