TOC - TOC

The play ”TOC - TOC” is written by the French playwright Laurent Baffie, an actor and writer for entertainment shows on radio and television, having its premiere in 2005, at the Palais-Royal in Paris.

”TOC –TOC” is a bubbly comedy whose action takes place in the office of Dr. Stern, a neuropsychiatrist renowned for his successes in treating obsessive-compulsive disorders - OCD. An appointment with Dr. Stern is hard to come by, as he travels a lot abroad.
Coprolalia, arithmomania, nosophobia, palilalia are just a part of the conditions of the six patients who meet in Dr. Stern's waiting room. He is delayed, being stuck at the airport. After a while, the patients will try to cope with the waiting time by improvising a group therapy, which will lead each of them to tell their story and, implicitly, to become friends and collaborate to overcome their own OCDs.
