A glimpse about the play!
The major domo, the minister, and the mistress. A very common love triangle in Romania of the `30s... Any resemblance to today's reality is, obviously, coincidental! Actors Adriana Trandafir, Gabriel Fătu, Ion Ionuț Ciocia, Alexandra Apetrei / Maria Claudia Vasile, Vlad Corbeanu, and Mihai Munteniță bring this wonderful play to life: liars deceived... deceivers misled... tangled entanglements... in a word, a sparkling comedy, played at a brisk tempo. Dramatic moments are not lacking either, where plans sewn with much too fine a thread lead to the collapse of all relationships in Minister Iorgu Vasiliu's house. With crazy decisions motivated by blind love, suspense driven by death threats, and a police inspector who intervenes at the right moment to try to unravel a mystery, only a Fool is needed for "Our Mistress at the Ministry" to also become a Detective Comedy. Full of humor!!!
