Any resemblance to today's reality is, of course, coincidental!
Actors Adriana Trandafir, Gabriel Fătu, Ion Ionuț Ciocia, Alexandra Apetrei / Maria Claudia Vasile, Vlad Corbeanu, and Mihai Munteniță turn this wonderful play into: liars deceived... deceivers deceived... complicated entanglements... in a word, a sparkling comedy performed at a brisk pace.
Dramatic moments are not lacking either, where plans, sewn with thread that is far too thin, lead to the unraveling of all relationships in Minister Iorgu Vasiliu's household. With crazy decisions motivated by blind love, suspense determined by threats of death, and a police inspector who steps in at the right moment to try to unravel a mystery, all that’s needed is a Fool for "Our Mistress from the Ministry" to become a Police Comedy as well.
