"Old Love" is a romantic comedy in two acts, with notes of personal drama, that tells a story with a happy ending, Hollywood-style, set against an austere backdrop, consisting of a few pieces of white furniture that contribute to the special, minimalist tone of the play.
"Old Love" takes place in the present day, connecting for nearly three decades the humble clerk Bud Mitchell and his boss's wife, Molly Graham, through sporadic meetings and conversations sprinkled with humor, quickly forgotten by her but forming the stones of a solid emotional construction for him. However, that crucial step is not taken until the two are alone, free from family obligations, she a widow, he divorced.
